Central Coast Show – Saturday 28nd September, Rowing Club, Ulverstone

World Daffodil Convention – Canberra 

Thursday 17th and Friday 18th September – Staging and judging of daffodils

Time to see local attractions

Saturday19th – Seminars, Floriade visit, possible trip to local growers

Dinner and presentations

Sunday20th – Local attractions/national institution visits/ local daffodil plots

Farewell dinner

Monday 21st– trip to Bowral

Post-Convention tour of about 10 days is planned to visit the South island of New Zealand and the NZNDS South Island Show

2020 World Daffodil Pre-Convention Program

Tasmania and Victoria

Wednesday September 9thGuests arrive, registration and welcome dinner Grand Chancellor hotel.

Thursday 10th –   Bus trip to Mike Temple-Smith Memorial Garden at Acton, to Richmond and the Coal River valley winery for lunch.  Afternoon visit to Maree Johnston’s garden, Otago Bay.
6-7.00pm Reception Government House.

Friday 11th – free morning except for daffodil judges or visit the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.  Sandwich lunch at the Town Hall.  View the Hobart Horticultural Society Show in the afternoon or visit Royal Tasmanian Gardens. Dinner – Asian restaurant.

Saturday 12th – Free day or Salamanca Market, 1.00pm Ferry to MONA, return 4.00pm.

Sunday 13th Bus trip – to Woodbank, lunch at Margate, visit Avi – Fauna park..  Farewell Dinner – Woolstore

Monday 14th –fly to Melbourne.

Victoria:  Tuesday 15th Travel to Kyneton to visit Brumley daffodils  and Will and Fermi, followed by garden visits.

Wednesday 16th  – Leongatha north to see Ian Dyson’s daffodils at Kilcunda for lunch.  Visit Phillip Island koala park and penguin parade.

Thursday 17th Hancock’s Daffodils in the morning with free afternoon.
